Blogger Policy
Cahill Davis Publishing Limited, (“we”; “our”) have a blogger, vlogger and Instagrammer database (“Blogger Database”) who will be contacted with the opportunity to receive advanced review copies (ARC) of our new titles on a monthly basis.
Those on the Blogger Database will be contacted once a book in their preferred genre is ready for review. This is done on a first-come, first-served basis by your specified preferred genres.
In order to manage the volume of blogger requests we receive, we run a call for new bloggers to join the Blogger Database twice a year, once in January and once in July. Outside of these times, we do not add new bloggers to the Blogger Database. Keep an eye out on our Facebook page and Twitter account for alerts of these calls, links can be found at the bottom of this post.
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to remove contacts from the Blogger Database. Contacts may also request to remove themselves.
We do not have minimum follower requirements for your social media accounts. We consider each application based on a number of factors, including but not limited to:
-
Follower numbers,
-
Engagement statistics,
-
Length of time you’ve been a blogger,
-
The tone of your content,
-
Other non-book related content you have posted.
We do not intend for you to be an exclusive reviewer/blogger for our titles only and actively encourage bloggers to pursue other opportunities with other publishing houses and independent authors. Being a member of our Blogger Database is not a paid position and in no way will you be considered to be an employee of Cahill Davis Publishing Limited.
We currently send digital review copies internationally but only send paperbacks to bloggers in the UK and Ireland. As a member of our Blogger Database, you are under no obligation to review a title sent to you. You should be aware of the advertising regulations where you live. UK advertising regulations can be found here www.cap.org.uk but please make sure you keep up to date with any changes to regulations where you live.
We accept no responsibility or liability for any of the content posted by you regarding our titles.
