CDP signs third new Helen Aitchison novel

Posted on 20/02/2023

CDP are pleased to announce that we have re-signed a contract with Helen Aitchison for her third novel, 31 Days of May.

May is a 24-year-old science student, who has forever felt like a square person in a round world, not quite fitting in and never being the right shape. But she’s always had her parents and her best friend, Scarlett, who accept her just as she is.

Tragedy strikes, more than once, and May is certain that she is incapable of love and happiness without the threat of destruction.  May does what she does best and devises an extreme plan to ensure she won’t ever feel abandoned again.

Serendipity, however, has other ideas!

The 31 Days of May is about finding your place in the world, regardless of your shape, and that when you think there is no future, sometimes the world helps you shine with a different light.

Helen said of the signing, “I’m thrilled to have had my third book signed with Cahill Davis Publishing. It’s been an amazing two years working with the team on my debut and second novel, and I’m excited to work with the team again on my third book.”

Cassandra Davis of Cahill Davis Publishing said, “We’re excited to be working with Helen again on her third novel. We’re about to launch Helen’s second novel, The Life and Love (Attempts) of Kitty Cook, and we know that Helen’s fans are going to love both Kitty Cook and May, when she’s released in 2024!”

31 Days of May will be released on 29th March 2024 and will be available in ebook and paperback. In the meantime, you can pick up a copy of Helen’s first novel, The Dinner Club, here or pre-order The Life and Love (Attempts) of Kitty Cook here.
