CDP are pleased to announce that we have re-signed a contract with Jane Allison for her second novel, The Headmaster’s Daughter.
The Headmaster’s Daughter is the sequel to Jane’s debut novel, The Gardener’s Wife, released in March 2021. In the sequel we revisit Emma and Phillip and how their lives have grown and changed in the years since WW1. The Headmaster’s Daughter is also set during WW2 and deals with subjects such as the Kindertransport.
Cassandra Davis of Cahill Davis Publishing said, “We’re excited to be working with Jane again on her second novel and to revisit the characters Jane created from her first. The Gardener’s Wife holds a special place in our hearts as it was the first book CDP published and so we’re delighted to get to work on the sequel.”
The Headmaster’s Daughter will be released on 24th May 2024 and will be available in ebook and paperback. In the meantime, you can pick up a copy of Jane’s first novel, The Gardener’s Wife, here.
